Small grants scheme
The Small Grants Scheme seeks to support a range of local voluntary organisations in financial need. (e.g. care charities, arts groups, sports clubs and youth groups). The scheme currently offers grants of up to £2,000 for specific, one-off projects. The total budget for the allocation of such grants for the current financial year is £12,000. The deadline for the current round of applications is 15th March 2017.
The following organisations are not eligible
- national charities without a tangible presence in the district
- commercial organisations
- parish or village councils
Projects must benefit Tandridge residents and should not conflict with the Council's corporate objectives. Both applicant organisations and their proposed projects must be financially viable. The Council must not be the sole contributor (i.e. funding should also come from the organisation itself and/or other sources).

As stated within the criteria, requests for assistance with the following types of project will be considered:
- Performances (e.g. concerts and theatrical productions).
- Start up activities.
- Initiatives that extend or enhance the activities already being undertaken.
Grants will not be provided for the direct provision of vehicles or structural improvements to premises.
