The following elections took place on Thursday 3 May.
Information about the elections counts
The District elections are held every three years out of four, which means each year 14 out of the 42 councillors currently serving on the Council are up for re-election. This means not all wards will be contested. In the fourth year the County Council elections are held.

The following wards are being contested on 3 May.

- Burstow, Horne & Outwood
- Godstone
- Harestone
- Oxted North & Tandridge
- Oxted South
- Portley
- Queens Park
- Valley
- Warlingham East, Chelsham & Farleigh
- Warlingham West
- Westway
- Whyteleafe
- Woldingham

aParish Elections
There will be parish elections in:
- Caterham Hill - Portley Ward (3 seats), Queens Park Ward (3 seats) and Westway Ward (3 seats)
- Oxted - South Ward by-election (1 seat)
- Warlingham - East (6 seats) and West (5 seats)
- Woldingham (9 seats)
There will be no elections in the following parishes, as there were the same or fewer candidates as seats. Those who submitted nomination papers will automatically become parish councillors.
