Every week we collect refuse and recycling from around 33,000 households spread over the 110 sq miles that is the district of Tandridge.
Twelve recycling and refuse vehicles travel approximately 4,650 miles (7,500 kilometres) per week collecting 470 tonnes of rubbish and 130 tonnes of recycling. The cost of providing this service is just £1.26 a week per household.
