Tree preservation orders and trees in conservation areas

The forestry section within the planning department deals with tree preservation orders, trees in conservation areas and gives advice on planning applications that may affect trees.

Work on trees that are covered by a tree preservation order, or are located within a conservation area, may require an application or notification to the Council.
