Life in Tandridge

Despite being so near to London, the district is very rural and over 90% is covered by Green Belt. It is a district of contrasts with busy commuter towns and leafy villages. Caterham and Oxted provide shopping facilities for the local population and surrounding areas, while Warlingham and Whyteleafe are busy commuter towns. In addition there are local shops in villages such as Godstone, Limpsfield, Lingfield, Smallfield and Tatsfield.

There are a wide variety of pubs and restaurants catering for all price ranges and tastes, as well as beautiful countryside, conservation areas, nature reserves and places of historical and general interest.
