Garage letting

Currently, the council has over 700 garages which it rents out. Whilst the majority of these are currently let, there is some availability in the more rural areas of the district. For the more popular areas, you may have to join a waiting list.

Although you do not have to be a council tenant, or live in the Tandridge district, to rent one of our garages, priority is given to council tenants and leaseholders, the prices of which vary from site to site.

Other members of the public are charged VAT in addition to the basic rental price. Rent must be paid by Direct Debit and you must pay one month's rent in advance and complete a Direct Debit form upon signing the license agreement before you will be allowed to collect the keys.
