CPD seminars

We organise regular free cpd seminars and training updates for local agents, architects, engineers and contractors. These are very well attended and aim to keep local professionals up to date with the latest techniques and innovations within the building industry as well as keeping them informed of changes to the building regulations. (CPD certificates are issued following each session.)

Seminars run from 12 noon to 2.00pm, are informal and friendly. The presentations usually last about an hour and are designed to increase understanding on a particular subject. Followed by a light buffet lunch, the events then offer an opportunity for attendees to discuss the topic further with the presenter as well as network with the Tandridge team and like-minded professionals. Details of our forthcoming seminars are given below:

Tuesday 16 May
Nu-Heat are experts in underfloor heating and the aim of their presentation is to help understand the advantages of underfloor systems, the importance of design and system performance, explore typical floor constructions, solutions and acoustic considerations under Part E.

Wednesday 12 July
Cavity Trays Limited is the only tray manufacturer awarded European Technical approval and has more experience, case histories and know-how than any other company in this specialist field.  This one hour CPD session is suitable for architects, builders and engineers.

Tuesday 12 September
Sovereign Chemicals will be presenting on radon protection and substructure waterproofing/tanking. Covering both topics this training session will include protection requirements, systems available and practical solutions.  Please note this seminar will run from 3.00-4.30pm

Wednesday 1 November
Alumasc provides premium waterproofing systems for roofs. This CPD presentation will cover a systems overview, advantages of hot melt, detailing, blue roofs and project case studies.

Tuesday 12 December
TLX Insulation will be talking about condensation risk and insulation systems for difficult to insulate buildings. They will be covering their range of materials, saving space, installing insulation from the outside without a vapour membrane as well as upgrading insulation and will illustrate uses through case studies.
